Outside of the nuclear case, very few $\mathrm{C}^*$-algebras are known to have the LLP\@. In this article, we show that the LLP holds for the algebraic contraction $\mathrm{C}^*$-algebras introduced by Hadwin and further studied by Loring and Shulman.
